The first generation of the new crossover and so popular in Russia, Hyundai Creta was officially presented in 2016. In China and India, the second generation is officially presented, but in Russia and neighboring countries, so far only an updated model and that, not as much as it was previously done for other countries. Since the release of the first generation, Hyundai Creta has received a compact and very attractive appearance. At the time of this writing, the second generation is presented in the world, and a little earlier the car had gone through a planned restyling. Looking ahead, I would like to say that both restyling and the second generation in appearance largely depend on the country of delivery. For example, for China and other Asian countries, the updates were more noticeable, both in terms of the exterior and in the technical direction. For Russia and neighboring countries, the manufacturer decided to minimize the modifications and limited himself to only certain exterior details.

The updated Hyundai Creta 2020 entered the Russian market not so long ago. Most of all, the novelty differs in the front, in particular, the designers installed a new radiator grill, with a mesh insert instead of horizontal chrome stripes. The central part of the grille is still adorned with the corporate emblem, but the edging is now black. Another difference is the modified front optics, now LED daytime running lights are built into it, along the lower contour, although many say that it would be better to make them from above, thereby adding severity to the car.

According to the manufacturer, the front optics of the Hyundai Creta 2020 received a cornering light function, as well as updated headlights, thereby improving lighting. If you want more or make the car austere, the background of the Hyundai Creta optics is proposed to be made black, thereby emphasizing the crossover in front.

The front bumper of the Hyundai Creta 2020 received a minimum of changes for the Russian Federation. In the center there is a pronounced "lip" and an additional radiator grill with a plastic edging. From the design plan, the designers have minimized the amount of chrome parts of the Hyundai Creta. The front and side struts of the crossover are now painted black. Finally, it remains to consider the roof of the updated Hyundai Creta 2020. You should not expect much luxury, in the updated crossover the roof is solid, with stiffening ribs. Also on the roof there are rails for attaching an additional trunk and an antenna in the form of a shark fin. Whether an electric sunroof or a panorama will be available is not really clear yet, since there are differences between countries.

The partial update of the Hyundai Creta turned out to be not as bright as the manufacturer previously described it. If a person has not seen the car in its original form, then he will not be able to immediately distinguish the novelty. On the other hand, such pinpoint refinements of the Hyundai Kreta left a recognizable design, and improved individual elements, making them strict and modern.

The interior of the new crossover

If the exterior of the updated Hyundai Creta can somehow be distinguished by individual elements, then the manufacturer decided to leave the interior of the crossover the same, thereby simply transferring it from the pre-styling model. The front panel is still hard plastic, with a raised center section.A clock, a multimedia / audio system screen, a pair of air ducts, a Start / Stop button for the engine, a climate control panel with a monochrome display and a pair of outlets for recharging are located in the center of the panel from top to bottom.

Depending on the configuration of the Hyundai Creta or the wishes of the buyer, an audio system with a 5 ″ display or a multimedia system with a 7 ″ touch screen can be located in the center. The latter simultaneously supports the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay platforms, thereby allowing you to connect gadgets and display their capacity on the central display.

The central tunnel of the updated Hyundai Creta crossover looks modern and without unnecessary details. At the very beginning, they placed buttons for controlling seat heating, as well as security systems. Closer to the seats are the transmission lever, a pair of cup holders and a mechanical handbrake. The whole set ends with a small armrest, with a spacious compartment inside.
