A lot of noise was caused by the appearance of a new domestic automobile company Aurus in Russia. The manufacturer immediately announced that the new models will be premium class, with maximum comfort and modern security systems. Until recently, all orders for new Aurus models were carried out only for the needs of the Russian state.
Now, the company said that from May 31, 2021, it will begin accepting pre-orders for the new serial Aurus Senat for ordinary buyers. As expected, serial production was established at the Sollar plant located in Yelabuga. As for the state cars Aurus Senat (sedan, limousine, as well as armored versions), they will continue to be assembled in Moscow on the basis of the NAMI institute.
According to reports, the first batch of Aurus Senat is already ready for sale. Soon the cars will be handed over to new owners in Russia, so the car can be seen live on the roads of the Russian Federation. On the line of the plant in Yelabuga, it is planned to assemble up to 5,000 Aurus Senat vehicles per year.
The starting price of the basic configuration Aurus Senate starts at 18 million rubles. The first batch will be limited and will be released with the maximum set of comfort and safety features. The price of such a top-end configuration will cost from 22 million rubles. It is reliably known that a hybrid engine will be installed under the hood of the serial Aurus Senat.
The power plant consists of a 4.4-liter V8 petrol engine and an electric motor. The total power will be 598 hp and a torque transmission of 880 Nm to the all-wheel drive system. The power of the electric motor will be 62 hp. A 9-speed automatic transmission will be installed in tandem with the engine.
Thanks to such characteristics, the Aurus Senat sedan will be able to overcome the first hundred on the speedometer in 5.7 seconds, and the maximum speed will be 250 km / h.
The buyer will be offered a choice to paint the body in one of 12 shades, while the most popular are:
- coffee;
- black;
- white mother-of-pearl;
- steel blue;
- Navy blue;
- graphite;
- Red;
- ruby.
The interior of the Aurus Senat is no less luxurious. Depending on the configuration, the salon will be designed for 4 or 5 seats, respectively, the second row will be designed for two or three seats. A complete set with an ordinary "sofa" for three seats will surprise you only with luxury on the front panel and high-quality interior upholstery. If the second row of the Aurus Senate is for two separate seats, then the owner will be offered maximum luxury. Among the reliably known ones: a couple of additional displays on the headrests of the front seats, a small refrigerator behind the center armrest and many pleasant things.
Separate captain's chairs will surprise most of all, in addition to the maximum possible number of adjustments, the list will include a massage function, airflow and heating. In the case of ordering an armored car, the backrest of such seats will also receive armored elements, thereby protecting the rear passengers.
It is tentatively known that the first two batches of Aurus were sold out before they left the assembly line. Judging from this, we can say that the subsequent models of the Aurus Senate will be no less in demand, not only in Russia, but also abroad. Recall that for the first time the domestic premium brand Aurus was presented in 2018, and as a project developed by the NAMI Institute in 2013. Initially, the brand was planned only for the needs of the state, but over time, information appeared about the sale of cars to private hands.
