Representatives of Kia in Russia spoke about the details of the trim levels and sales of the updated Optima and cee’d. All new Kia models, regardless of the configuration, will be equipped with the ERA-GLONASS emergency call system. This system has become mandatory for imported and new cars in Russia since 2017.
To begin with, consider the updated Kia cee'd 2017. The new product has a Bluetooth module in order to synchronize a smartphone. In the center of the panel is a new 7 ″ high-definition touchscreen infotainment system. Such pleasure will be installed in the five-door Prestige, GT and Premium trim levels. In the three-door and station wagon, such a multimedia system will be in the Premium and Prestige trim levels.
The capabilities of the new multimedia system are quite good, it is able to automatically update information about traffic jams and other road conditions in real time. In addition, the system can be easily combined with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
The updated Kia cee'd Premium provides for the installation of an automatic high and low beam change system. There will also be a system for tracking road markings, in case of deviation, the driver will be notified of this. As for the price, without taking into account different shares of the five-door cee’d will cost from 919900 to 1224900 rubles. The Kia cee'd station wagon will cost the buyer from 894,900 to 1,294,900 rubles. Next on the list is the Kia Optima sedan, regardless of the configuration, all sedans will be equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system. The base Classic is now equipped with heated front seats and Bluetooth. The Prestige, Luxe, GT and GT Line trim levels will be equipped with a modern multimedia system with the latest generation of navigation.
The Kia Optima GT with a 245 horsepower engine and adaptive optics AFLS will now be retrofitted with LED optics with automatic tilt angle adjustment. Also in this sports package will be installed sports seats, with a new design and construction.
According to the statements of representatives of the company Kia Motors in Russia, the updated Kia Optima 2017 will cost from 1,159,900 to 1,809,900 rubles. It is worth recalling that before the update, the new generation in Russia started its sales back in March 2016.
