Recently, McLaren Automotive published a photo of the track supercar. According to official information, its world premiere should take place at the Festival of Speed in British Goodwood, at the end of June this year.

Most likely, the new track McLaren will be a 650S coupe, which is primarily intended for the GT3 racing category. A little early development of the extreme variant was confirmed by Chris Goodwin, the chief test driver of the British brand. On the teaser, with the naked eye, you can see the silhouette of the car, it is inherent in the typical model brand headlights, made in the form of a boomerang, Pirelli tires and a rather massive rear wing.

According to preliminary information, the novelty will be made much lighter than a civilian supercar, but the 3.8-liter twin-turbo "eight", which today is capable of developing 650 horsepower and 678 Nm of torque, will be boosted. For example, the engine present on the McLaren P1 is capable of delivering 737 horsepower. The usual McLaren 650S was presented a little earlier, even at the Geneva Motor Show, which was held in early March this year, in one of the main cities of Switzerland. This model is really impressive, mainly due to the fact that it is able to pick up a speed of 100 km per hour in three seconds. In order to develop a speed of 200 km per hour, it will need 8.4 seconds, but in order to reach a speed of 300 km per hour, the owner of this car will have to "step on the gas" for about 25.4 seconds. In the modern car market, the new McLaren is available in two completely different variations: "coupe" and "convertible". In addition to external changes, a rather significant difference is observed in their technical characteristics.
