As it became known, sales of the new Kia Mohave 2020 SUV have started in South Korea. The new Mohave is, in fact, a continuation of the previously presented Masterpiece concept, which was shown at the Seoul auto show. The first photos of the appearance of the novelty were declassified back in mid-August 2019. As for the photos of the interior, they were presented only after the start of sales of the novelty.
As expected by car enthusiasts, the interior of the new Kia Mohave has been completely redesigned. Interior decoration made of genuine leather and wood inserts, presented in dark and light versions. The instrument panel is fully digital, based on a large 12.3 ″ color display. Nearby, in the center of the console is another 12.3 ″ touchscreen multimedia display. On the plus side, it can be noted voice control, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The standard also includes wireless charging for smartphones, Wi-Fi hotspot and 4G LTE mobile communications. According to the standard, the second row of seats in the Kia Mohave 2020 is made in the form of a sofa, for an additional charge you can install two separate seats, like the first row. Also for a surcharge, you can install a head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats, and a separate climate control for the third row. The second and third row of seats can be folded down with one button, while they fold into a flat floor. The manufacturer equipped the trunk lid of the new Kia Mohave with such a servo drive.
Following the general view, the engineers have fine-tuned the technical part of the Kia Mohave. In particular, the suspension and steering gear. As a result, there are now six driving modes, where three are familiar (Sport, Eco and Comfort), and three off-road modes for driving on sand, mud and snow. Despite different theories, there is a single 3.0-liter engine under the hood. It is a turbocharged V6 diesel with 260 horsepower and a maximum torque of 560 Nm. An 8-speed automatic transmission with an all-wheel drive system is installed in tandem with the engine. According to preliminary data, the price of the new Kia Mohave in South Korea starts at $ 39,230. As for other markets, the appearance of new items is expected closer in mid-2020.
